It is the biggest religious and spiritual, śaivic festival in the world, gathering almost 100 million pilgrims from around the world. It is worth to join holy practices chanting holy mantras such as Om Namah Śivaya or Hara Śiva for purifcation and uplift of one's own soul and the world.

Kumbha Mela is a Yoga and Tantra ancient vedic ceremonial occasion of spiritual cleansing and restoration. As many as 100 million spiritual pilgrims may gather during one of these events to bathe in the waters of a sacred river. There are four locations for the pilgrimage, and the Kumbha Mela rotates from one location to the next with a sacred gathering being held every three years. In this way, each of the four locations welcomes pilgrims once every twelve years. The four locations and their respective sacred rivers are Haridwar (Ganges), Allahabad (where the Ganges, Yamuna, and Saraswati meet), Nashik (Godawari), and Ujjain (Shipra).

Each Kumbha Mela lasts for an entire year, providing ample time for pilgrims to journey to the site. Flags are hoisted on the first day of the festival and special bathing opportunities and other ceremonies are scheduled on specific days. The Kumbhan festival features a fair as well as ceremonies and rit.

The patrons of The Himavanti Confraternity Order are such spiritual celebrities as Kalkin-Maitreya, also called Christ or the Messiah, Rishi Dattatreya, Djwahl Khul Khan, Lord Morya and Menaka, Padmasambhawa, Shirdi Sai Baba, Baba Shivananda, Archangel Raziel and Raphael, Archangel Uriel, the Lord of Yogis Himself- Shri Shiva Yogeshvara, as well as a great celestial crowd of saints, masters, prophets and angels ”dressed in white robes” – the Great White Fraternity, the Communion of Saints. They convey their spiritual powers, advice, inspiration, accomplishments as well as verbal teachings to those who would like to follow in their footsteps to reach the sources of this unique reality which the masters have already attained.

Repeating the Gayatri with full focus and attention by rosary (rudraksha) will make a human being illuminated and completely bathed in the light of God. You can call it immersion in the light of enlightenment, or the baptism in the light of the divine flame.
